As is hopefully evident from the site changes and main news page, we've now launched the Sculpting Evolution Group at the MIT Media Lab. We're at the Lab because it's one of the very few places where we can our work in a thoughtful and ethical manner. That is, a place that will actively support us in evaluating the consequences of our technologies and pioneering new ways to make science better serve society rather than strictly focusing on scientific publications.
In the tumult of setting up the lab and attempting to guide gene drive technology and new developments, posting has suffered more than a bit. Recent thoughts have been published at Project Syndicate and Nature, although most of my output has been in the form of talks - 38 of them so far this year. I'm hoping to make most of the presentations available. As always, everything is CC-BY.
